Terms of Service
By using any 5Host service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. These terms apply to all services offered under the 5host.net domain.
1. Services
5Host provides access to privately self-hosted services including but not limited to:
- Jellyfin โ media streaming
- Navidrome โ music streaming
- Nextcloud โ personal cloud storage
- File sharing โ temporary file hosting
- Private search engine
- VPN access with exit tunnels to 90+ countries
All services are run on privately owned and operated hardware by a single individual. 5Host is not a registered company.
2. Account & Access
Access credentials are provided manually after payment is confirmed. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.
Each subscription covers one user account per service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Payment & Billing
Payments are processed manually. Access is granted after payment is verified. The following terms apply:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
- There are no automatic renewals โ you will be contacted before your access expires.
- Refunds are not provided once access credentials have been delivered, except at sole discretion of 5Host in exceptional circumstances.
- Prices may change at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use 5Host services to:
- Upload, store, or distribute illegal content of any kind.
- Conduct illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, hacking, or harassment.
- Distribute malware, spam, or conduct phishing attacks.
- Circumvent geographic restrictions in violation of applicable service terms.
- Abuse resources in a way that degrades service quality for other users (e.g. excessive storage usage beyond agreed limits).
- Resell or redistribute access to 5Host services without prior written permission.
Violation of acceptable use policy will result in immediate termination of access without refund.
5. Availability & Uptime
5Host aims to keep all services available 24/7 but makes no guarantees of uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance when possible)
- Hardware failure or ISP outages
- Security incidents
- Circumstances beyond our control
5Host is not liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time.
- You: Contact us before your renewal date. No further charges will be made.
- 5Host: May terminate access immediately and without notice for violation of these terms. May terminate with reasonable notice for any other reason, with a pro-rata refund where applicable.
Upon termination, your data stored on 5Host infrastructure (e.g. Nextcloud files) will be deleted within 30 days.
7. Limitation of Liability
5Host services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- 5Host is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the services.
- 5Host is not responsible for loss of data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the current subscription period.
8. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of 5Host services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated to active subscribers directly.

5Host is built around privacy. We collect as little data as possible, keep no activity logs, and never sell or share your information with third parties. Your data stays yours.
1. What We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily provide when placing an order:
- Contact information โ email address, Telegram username, or Session ID. Used solely to deliver your credentials and communicate about your subscription.
- Payment confirmation โ enough to verify your payment was made (e.g. a transaction reference). No financial account details are stored.
We do not collect your real name, address, phone number, or any government-issued identification.
2. How We Use It
Your contact information is used only for:
- Delivering access credentials for your subscribed services
- Notifying you about renewals, outages, or important service changes
- Responding to your support requests
We will never send you unsolicited marketing messages.
3. Logs & Activity
5Host maintains a strict no-logs policy across all services:
- VPN: No connection logs, no traffic logs, no timestamps, no IP addresses.
- Search: No search query logs, no user profiles, no tracking cookies.
- Jellyfin / Navidrome: Standard application logs may exist temporarily for debugging but are not stored long-term and are not linked to your identity.
- Nextcloud / File Share: File metadata (names, sizes, upload dates) is stored only as necessary for the service to function and is accessible only to you.
We do not monitor, analyse, or log what you watch, listen to, search for, store, or share through our services.
4. Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties.
All services run on privately owned hardware. No third-party cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) are used to host your data.
This website uses Google Fonts, which may load font files from Google's servers. No personal data is transmitted in this process beyond a standard HTTP request.
5. Data Retention
- Contact information is kept for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days, then deleted.
- Your files (Nextcloud, file share) are deleted within 30 days of account termination.
- Temporary file share links expire after 30 days on paid plans and are deleted automatically.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will action requests within 7 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw from the service at any time
